Customer Comments
How do I make payment? From April 1st 2011, payments for all new reservations are made at the time the reservation is confirmed. If your reservation cannot be confirmed. (i.e. if the hotel is full), then no charge is made to your credit card.

Payment can be made using VISA, MasterCard, or American Express.

Previously, payment was made directly to the accommodation, but due to changes in credit card processing standards in Japan, we have had to change to a prepaid system.
How do I receive confirmation? You will receive a reservation number immediately on completing the reservation request form. You will also get an email automatically sent to you confirming your request. Once the reservation is confirmed, and any time you make a change to the reservation, you will get an email informing you of the details.

You can track the status of your reservation at anytime online by following the Reservation Status link at the top of each page on our site.
What are the cancellation penalties? Cancellation Penalties are listed in Section 11 of the terms and conditions. The following is a brief summary of cancellation fees.

Why should I choose to book through JapanHotel.net?
  1. We have been bringing international visitors to Japan for over 10 years, and have established one of the largest networks of accommodation properties in Japan. Bringing international visitors to Japan is all we do. We are not the Japan branch of a mega online travel corporation, not are we the English language add on to a Japanese site. We are one of the few travel agencies that specialize in inbound travel to Japan, and you will be hard put to find better advice or information from other sources.
  2. Being a licensed travel agent we have an obligation to maintain industry standards, and provide a truly professional service. Also as a registered travel agent we have a bond lodged with the Japanese Government. This protects customers in the event of any financial difficulties. Always be wary of sites that do not display travel agents registration data on their home page. All companies operating in as travel agents or booking agents in Japan are required to be registered with either the Ministry of Land and Infrastructure, or by the prefectural governor in their location. Sites that are not registered are in contravention to Japan Travel Law, and you will have no claim if something goes wrong on your trip.
  3. We treat all our clients data with the utmost privacy, and do not divulge any of the information supplied to us to any outside party. (See our privacy policy)
  4. Our site uses the latest 128bit encryption for all sensitive information, and our company documentation has been validated by THAWTE before the issuance of our secure certificate. Always be wary of sites that claim to offer secure server access yet the domain of the secure server is different from their own. These sites take your information and email it to themselves, defeating the purpose of a secure server. Only trust sites that have their own secure server, and display a live link to verify the authenticity of the certificate. JHN Travels certificate is displayed below. For more info click here.
  5. Always be wary of sites that do not offer a telephone number on their websites. You have no way of contacting them in case of an emergency. JHN Travel Ltd telephone number is 81-261-75-5360 (or 0261-75-5360 if dial in Japan). While we prefer to communicate with customers by email, we are always happy to take your call during our business hours.
