Asukaso is a traditional Japanese-style
inn located in the heart of Nara city with easy access to the famous Nara Park where you can meet the Japanese deer. Located in a convenient but in a quiet area, it is an ideal location to stroll the ancient capital town Nara. The famous Kofukuji temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other sites in Nara, can also be accessed easily. We have both Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats and western-style rooms. All of the rooms have their own private bath and toilet. The western-style rooms, having a Japanese atmosphere, and the baths were renewed in 2007. For dinner, delicious, seasonal Japanese kaiseki dishes as well as the local food can also be enjoyed in front of the beautiful Japanese garden.
Kofukuji temple’s five-story pagoda can be seen while soaking in the new open-air bath.
