If you wanted the perfect place to stay in the Shiga Kogen Ski resort this is
it. Smack bank in the middle!
Located across the road from Ichinose Bus Stop, this hotel is less than 50m
from a lift ticket office, large ski rental outlet (with top of the line
rentals), and the slopes at Ichinose Diamond (the most central resort in the
vast Shiga Kogen area). Right next door is a sports bar with large screen and
local micro beers on tap, as well as a number of other restaurants within
walking distance (Including a Full Buffet restaurant, Izakaya Tavern, and
authentic Nepalese Curry shop).
From Ichinose Diamond, you can access the Yakebitaiyama Slopes, as well as
Oku Shiga Kogen (skiers only). Or you can jump on the moving walkway at Ichinose
Diamond and head to Ichinose Family , mammoth, Tateyama, Terakoya, Tamagahara,
and on to Giant. That's a good 4 -5 days on the slopes accessed right from the
front door.
Rooms are modern, western style rooms with en-suites. Breakfast is served in
the dining room.
There are several places in the hotel to sit and enjoy a quite drink, or you
can have a meal at the Sun Terrace Restaurant. Dinner can be ordered and eaten
in the main dining room. the menu varies daily and there are several great
dishes that should be tried at least once during your stay.
There is also a Japanese style bathhouse to soak away tired bodies at the end
of the day.
