Built in the 38th year of the Meiji Emperor, these rooms tell off lift in Japan over 100 years ago.
This section of the hotel is currently being considered for historic status by the Culture Ministry
Note. In order to retain these rooms in their traditional state, the owners of the inn have not installed
bathrooms in the guest rooms (each room does have a toilet). Private bathrooms were not i
ntroduced to Japan until afterthe 2nd world war

A 10mat main room is attached to a smaller room that houses a traditional Japanese Irori fireplace. A great place to converse over a few drinks in the evening.

These rooms have ensuite bathroom facilities.
