| Welcome to Yatsusan Kan's English Home
page. We are a traditional Japanese Hot Spring Ryokan located
neat the historic town of Takayama. For over 150years we have
been welcoming guests to our inn, and treating them like
family. Our inn retains the
traditional feel of the late 19th century, and guests can
wander through the corridors to soak up the atmosphere and
view our gallery.
After a sumptuous dinner you can relax
in our natural hot springs before settling down to a peaceful
night in our authentic tatami mat rooms.
Our 2 main wings are the historic Meiji
Era Wing, or the more contemporary Kangetsu Wing.
